We invite you to download, print, cut out and assemble these messenger drones. And then we encourage you to distribute them as everyday reminders of the ongoing horrors of war and the expanding culture of surveillance. Disperse these silent, stealth paper protests everywhere – at the mall, on a gas pump, at the office, in a bookstore or movie theatre, at your post office, in public restrooms, at the 7-11, in the produce section of your grocery store … to foster dialogue, action and resistance to what is being done in our name. Take photos of your drones in situ and post them on our facebook page or send them directly to us at speak@mouthswideopen.org. You can also post comments on facebook or write to us directly – we’d love to hear from you.

Just click on the template of your choice below. There are three different messages and two different sizes – the small come 2-to-a-page, and take a bit more finesse to cut out and assemble. The big ones are easier and definitely more visible, but not quite as under-the-radar – so, the size you choose depends on where you plan to put them. We suggest a varied arsenal.  We also suggest using cover stock paper, which is a bit heavier than regular copier/printer paper – which is fine but flimsy, especially for the larger version. Card stock might be a bit too heavy and brittle.  Experiment and see what works.

Drones aren’t going away any time soon.  Help to create an environment in which
